Dr. Bonnie Wise brings a wealth of expertise diagnosing, treating, and educating patients on all facets of women’s health and wellness. Her extensive career in clinical, academic, and administrative roles began at Northwestern in 1997 as a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s affiliate medical school, The Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a founding partner of the Northwestern Specialists of Women, founded in 2008, and is immensely proud of the team of providers and staff that have come together to deliver the highest level of care to patients. Taking the time to listen and educate is an essential element to her care approach. Dr. Wise provides care from adolescence through post menopause and is a skilled minimally invasive surgeon, offering a host of in-office procedures for polyp and fibroid removal and uterine ablation. Additionally, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal bleeding, infertility, and perimenopause and menopausal transition. As Chief Medical Officer for Together Women’s Health, assuring that the future of delivering care to women in a private practice model is sustained and prevails in a time where healthcare delivery is changing is her mission and legacy. She has been recognized by the North American Menopause Society and has earned the endorsement by the society as a certified menopause consultant. She has proudly served as the Clinical Liaison for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2014. She represents all the affiliated private providers that comprise the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has served on innumerable hospital committees in her role. Dr. Wise received a B.A. from Boston University, attended The Chicago Medical School, and completed her residency at the University of Illinois and Michael Reese Hospitals. She is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American Medical Association, The Chicago Medical Society, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is lifelong athlete and outdoor enthusiast. In her free time, she loves to gather with friends and family sharing in good food and laughter. Her source of inspiration comes from her husband of 30 years and her two beautiful children who are the loves of her life, not to mention her Portuguese Water dogs!
