Dr. Ryan joined Northwestern Specialists for Women in 2021. She specializes in both high and low risk pregnancies, preconception counseling with focus on nutrition and lifestyle modification, evaluation and management of infertility with special attention to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, fibroids, and recurrent pregnancy loss. She performs a wide range of office procedures, including diagnostic hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic polypectomy, LEEP procedure, D&C, and colposcopy. Dr. Ryan has a particular interest in caring for patients with chronic pelvic pain, where she promotes integrated, interdisciplinary treatment options, including biofeedback and pelvic floor physical therapy. She gave a Grand Rounds presentation and numerous lectures for students and residents on the pathophysiology and understanding of chronic pelvic pain. Dr. Ryan completed her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology with a Minor in Organic Chemistry from Loyola University in Illinois. She received her medical degree and residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Ryan is fluent in English, Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak, and conversational Russian. In her free time, she enjoys an active city life, cooking, and traveling with her husband and son.
